As digital transformation continues to reshape the global logistics industry, collaboration between China and Africa in smart transportation and supply chain innovation is becoming increasingly important.
Recently, a delegation from the International Leadership Development Program (ILDP) of the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA) visited Jointech in Shenzhen to explore advanced technologies and best practices in smart logistics, AIoT-enabled transportation security, and digital supply chain management.
The visit brought together transportation and logistics professionals from South Africa to gain practical insights into China’s rapidly evolving logistics ecosystem and intelligent transportation technologies.
During the exchange session, Jointech introduced several of its flagship solutions designed to improve cargo visibility, transportation safety, and operational efficiency across global logistics networks.

One of the key highlights was Jointech’s Electronic Cargo Tracking System (ECTS), which combines electronic locking devices, GPS tracking, and intelligent alert systems to strengthen cargo security and improve customs supervision efficiency.
The delegation showed strong interest in how digital monitoring technologies can support safer and more transparent cross-border transportation across African trade corridors.
Jointech also presented its intelligent transportation security solutions for fuel and high-value cargo protection.
Using AIoT technologies, real-time monitoring, and data analytics, the solutions help logistics operators reduce transportation risks, improve fleet visibility, and minimize cargo loss during transit.
The company’s AI-powered video monitoring technologies also attracted significant attention during the discussions, especially regarding their applications in transportation safety management and operational risk prevention.
